Fox Network Rejects John 3:16 Ad For The Super Bowl But Airs Go Daddy's Ad

John 3:16 Gets The Boots Over Go Daddy? C'omon Fox Network!

America and her main stream media has forgotten God. I can't help but to think that "IN GOD WE TRUST" is nothing more than a cliché to us and we are no different than the non-God fearing nations.

Born Boots Reviews

First let me pour out congrats to the Green Bay Packers for a well played game and deserved Super Bowl winner title. I enjoyed the game last night.

Now moving on to the meat of this article. Since the 1970s it has been a common site to see a fan sitting directly behind the goal posts holding up a sign of John 3:16 during field goal attempts. So you would think that a Super Bowl commercial mentioning John 3:16 would be readily acceptable by the Fox network when being reviewed for inappropriate content. But this was not so, as Fox concluded that the extremely benign John 3:16 ad created for The Fixed Point Foundation was too controversial and offensive for the Super Bowl.

Controversial? Now that is unreal!!! What is really controversial is that the Fox review board can approve the sexually suggestive and almost racy ad of Go Daddy but, an ad that mentions a scripture in a commercial featuring a group of guys watching a football game is not acceptable? I not only find this bias but prejudiced and frustrating to born again Christian as myself. I don't have any legal background but I sure hope that something can be done about this.

This commercial, is as non controversial as they get, featuring a football player with an eye patch stating John 3:16, and the guys watching the game getting curious to know what is John 3:16. The Fox network is obviously ignorant of the history of football. Even Tim Tebow, former University of Florida Heisman Trophy winning quarterback who is the current Denver Broncos quarterback, often had a John 3:16 written on his eye black patches.

It is time that Christians take a stand, America's future depends on it. If we reject God, how can he come to our aid...it is time that we as a nation take a look at who or "what" is our God is and return to the foundation of what formed this great county.
